Sunday Snap – The bicycle rack

It was not surprising that there was an abundance of poppies about last week for Remembrance Sunday. I asked who wrote 'In Flanders Fields' in last week's Sunday Snap. It was a Canadian solider and doctor who wrote the poem and his name was

John McCrae

Sadly, like many of the great war poets he never made it to the end of the First World War. On 28th January 1918 McCrae died of pneumonia in Boulogne and was buried the next day at the nearby Wimereux cemetery.

Something completely different for this week. Row after row of bicycles. This is a city known for its cycling – it has the second highest percentage of people cycling to work. These bikes probably belong mainly to the many students who live in this city. Indeed, it is the university for which this city is most famous. This week's question is:

Which city are these bicycles in?
