About me and
JibberJabberUK
My name is Ness and I'm the
CBO (Chief Baking Officer) here at JibberJabber Towers. My loyal
staff members include my husband and my son and daughter aged 8 and 13.
JibberJabberUK is about the food we love to cook and eat together, the things we make and
the places we go as a family.
After graduating with a BA
(Hons) Journalism I moved to South Yorkshire and did some freelance
sports writing and PR. I fell into the world of pensions
administration and investment and worked for two major outsourcing
companies. During this time I also qualified as an independent
financial adviser. I took a break when my children were first born
but now I'm back to my first love of writing.

Reviews
We
love opportunities to be able to try new products. Please note I will
only accept items for review that are applicable to the content of
this blog. I have a mind of my own and all reviews will be my own
honest thoughts and opinions whether I am paid or not. Any items I
review will have a statement at the bottom of the post declaring that
the item has been sent to me to review and whether or not I have been
paid for the post.
Any
product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a
product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider
or party in question.
Photography
The
photography used on this blog is all my own work either through
loving created photo shoots or hurriedly taken on my mobile phone
before I eat the subject of the photo. This is real food cooked by me
and eaten by my family. I do not prepare food simply for the purposes
of staging a photo shoot. If I have used a photograph from another
source I will credit it. If this is not the case it is simply because
I got distracted by some chocolate biscuits. Please contact me so I
can rectify the situation.

I
do accept sponsored posts on this blog. All articles will be written
by me. Any pre-written content with have introduction I have written. I will also need to review any pre-written content before agreeing to publish it on my blog. Sponsored posts will
be declared at the bottom of the post.
Giveaways
I
love running giveaways and my readers love entering them. All
giveaways will be run through the Rafflecopter widget. However,
giveaways are extremely time consuming in both setting up and
verifying all the entries. Therefore I do expect some form of
compensation either monetary or in the form of the said prize.

This
blog contains some affiliate links which may result in me receiving
compensation when you traverse the link. The main affiliate networks I

Our
Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies
or individuals, including products or sites that may be displayed to

information practices of other companies and organizations who
advertise our services, and who may use cookies, pixel tags and
other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads.
We also
use third party advertisements on jibberjabberuk.co.uk to support
our site. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as
cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our site, which will
also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google
AdSense program) information including your IP address, your ISP ,
the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether
you have Flash installed. This is generally used for geotargeting
purposes (showing London restaurant ads to someone in London, for
example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited
(such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking
sites).
DoubleClick
DART cookies
We
also may use DART cookies for ad serving through Google’s
DoubleClick, which places a cookie on your computer when you are
browsing the web and visit a site using DoubleClick advertising
(including some Google AdSense advertisements). This cookie is used
to serve ads specific to you and your interests (”interest based
targeting”). The ads served will be targeted based on your
previous browsing history (For example, if you have been viewing
sites about visiting Glasgow, you may see Glasgow hotel
advertisements when viewing a non-related site, such as on a site
about hockey). DART uses “non personally identifiable
information”. It does NOT track personal information about you,
such as your name, email address, physical address, telephone
number, social security numbers, bank account numbers or credit card
numbers. You can opt-out of this ad serving on all sites using this
advertising by visiting DoubleClick.
You
can chose to disable or selectively turn off our cookies or
third-party cookies in your browser settings, or by managing
preferences in programs such as Norton Internet Security. However,
this can affect how you are able to interact with our site as well
as other websites. This could include the inability to login to
services or programs, such as logging into forums or
accounts.
Deleting cookies does not mean you are permanently
opted out of any advertising program. Unless you have settings that
disallow cookies, the next time you visit a site running the
advertisements, a new cookie will be added.
Changes
Our
Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your
rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We
will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the
changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice
(including, for certain services, email notification of privacy
policy changes).
If
you have just read all of this then go and make yourself a cup of
tea and enjoy it with a slice of cake.
