There was much admiration
for last week's Sunday Snap of The Electric Woods and a correct answer to its location. Mum Reinvented suggested it was on the Isle of Wight which is right
as it is at Robin Hill. If
you are lucky enough to be in the Isle of Wight this week the
Festival of Lights at Robin Hill is on until Saturday.
Joining in last week were
Shaheen from Allotment2Kitchen
and Art.Street.Life
with two very different forms of street art. Shaheen has spotted yarn
bombing in Cardiff Bay representing 'People Like Us' and the
diversity of cultures in Cardiff. Over in Sheffield Art.Street.Life
has seen a boy jumping from a great height but fear not as it is a
stencil piece entitled 'Leap of Faith'.
I've gone all seasonal this
week for Sunday Snap. Pumpkins, squashes, gourds we seem to have gone
mad for them at this time in the UK. This little lot was piled up in
the newly renovated glass house at Clumber Park. Since there are some
mighty fine and extremely large pumpkins around at the moment my
question for this week is:
What is the world record for
the heaviest pumpkin? Random guesses and frantic Googling allowed!
If you want to join in with
this week's Sunday Snap then add your link to the linky below. Any
theme is allowed but I would love to see some of your Halloween fruit
and vegetable carvings this week. It
doesn't have to be published today as you have until 23.55 on Friday
31th
October 2014 to join in. Grab my badge below for your blog post. Just
make sure it is your photo and you hold the copyright for it. I'll
share my favourites with you next week and remember I do like a bit
of a tale to go with a photo!

you can't link them below send them to me on my social media

ReplyDeleteThe 'leap of faith' is so clever....I had to do a double take on it and read what you've written as I initially thought it was someone jumping!!

ReplyDeleteI love that array of pumpkins , so many different types.
ReplyDeleteI love the little pumpkins, they're very cute. We got a load for free this year, they grow them in the field behind our house. The boys went down to watch while they were being harvested and got given a load. All standard pumpkins though, not interesting ones like yours!
ReplyDeleteCool pumpkin picture, we have just done ours but going to look for the little baby ones.
ReplyDeleteLove all those pumpkins!
