Sunday Snap – The Electric Woods

No correct answers for last week's Sunday Snap of Banksy or Fakesy?. The combination of a fish market and the English Riviera means that the town in question is:

Brixham

To prove that street art isn't all about spray cans and stencils Art.Street.Life has been on the trail of Invader in Newcastle upon Tyne. Invader visits cities leaving his mark in the form of Space Invader style mosaics. Seems to make for a quite a street art treasure hunt.

With the nights getting ever darker for this week I have some eerie lit trees for you. During August and the October visitors are treated to a woodland trail of lights. For many people this Island site is best known as the location of the annual Bestival festival.

Where are The Electric Woods located?

I've decided this week to open the Sunday Snap linky for any photos or blog posts with photos that you want to share. Take this week's photo of a tree lit up as inspiration if you wish but it doesn't have to follow a theme. It doesn't have to be published today as you have until 23.55 on Friday 24th October 2014 to join in. Grab my badge below for your blog post. Just make sure it is your photo and you hold the copyright for it. I'll share my favourites with you next week and remember I do like a bit of a tale to go with a photo!

  4. I love that top photo, how amazing is that! I remember visiting Brixham when I was younger. Doesn't it have a old fashioned ship docked there?

    1. The old ship is situated in the harbour at Brixham just round from the fish market. I must have a photo of it if I dig deep enough!

    1. There are some great sensory areas in the woods as well including water tunnels and a bird of prey show where you can feel the birds fly over you.
