Vote Cake!

Today the UK goes to the polls to decide who will govern us for the next few years. Experts have decided the outcome is too close to call but here at JibberJabberUK we believe the choice is clear – Vote Cake!

The Cake Manifesto

Everyone will be entitled to nice sit down and a slice of cake each day.

We aim to keep the UK together through the continued support for regional cakes such as Bara Brith, Dundee cake and Brack.

Whilst we do not welcome European interference in our baking techniques and ingredients. we will continue to eat European cakes such as Sachertorte and Dobos torte.

We respect the right for people to decide how they prepare a scone – either cream on first or jam. We also respect the right for people to pronounce scone so it rhymes with 'cone' or 'con'.

We support healthy eating and the promotion of '5 a day' through the eating of carrot cake, courgette cake and lemon drizzle cake etc.

We have a zero-tolerance attitude to any cake discrimination to minority cakes such as those which are gluten free or vegan.

We are prepared to work with other like-minded parties such as the Better Biscuit Campaign (and their wish to abolish VAT on all biscuits) and The Nice Cup of Tea party.

We are not prepared to compromise to parties whose fundamental ideologies goes against ours such as the Quick Caffeine Fix party and the Anti-Sugar Brigade.

We will continue to work with great British cake decoration suppliers such as Renshaw. A selection of their coloured marzipan and icing can be seen above.

Vote Cake – You know it tastes great!

Disclosure of interests: I was sent a selection of coloured marzipans from Renshaw and very nice they taste too.
