In last week's Sunday Snap we had a Royal Park, large lake and a reflection of the
London Eye coming over Horse Guards. We had several correct answers
last week. Stephanie, Mina,
Sarah, Ryan,
Gretta, all knew it was
St. James's Park
Since it was St. Valentine's
Day yesterday I thought I would have a touch of romance in this
week's photograph. In the last 10 years love locks have become a
feature of many European cities. In some locations they have been
considered vandalism due to the fact they cover up historical sites,
in particular bridges over rivers. These love locks are attached to
an old wire fence behind which lies an area of waste land. Round the
corner is a train station which opened in 2010. The whole area has in
recent years been a contrast between edgy, creative areas filled with
street art and trendy apartments to the original bomb devastated
buildings where poverty and prostitution once lurked. This week's
question is
Which area of London are
the love locks in?
Talking of street art we
were joined last week by Art Street Life and their photograph
of The Spider by the street artist Phlegm.
